    Description

    SIMPLE AND ELEGANT DESIGN
    Although it seems modern in its simplicity, this thread winder dates to about 1910.
    It is marked Sterling on the back along with the Webster logo.
    Winders like this were used to store fine embroidery silks and cottons that came in skeins rather than on commercial spools.
