I am not sure what this scissors-shaped item is used for! The end is not a blade, but a flat piece with ridges. Reminds me of pliers. Marked Giersch Solingen (could easily be misread as Gierson or Giersoh). Maker was Robert Giersch of Solingen, who also made straight razors and daggers in the 1910s-1930s. Shows overall wear from age and use. In as-found condition. Measures about 6" in total length.
